hens party cruises frequently asked questions
There are lots of questions to ask when booking Sydney hens party cruises, we’ve answered most of them here. Can’t find what you are looking for? Get in touch with the team, we are happy to help.
How do I book a hens party cruise?
Contact us to find out if your chosen date/time is available. We have different payment terms for our per-person packages vs standard boat hire.
How far in advance should i book?
The earlier you book your hens night the better. Our packages are popular and tend to book for about 6 months in advance and by booking early you are more likely to secure your preferred date/time/boat. Last-minute bookings are accepted, just get in touch for availability.
How do I pay for my hens party cruise?
We accept bank transfers, credit card payments and cash. We cannot accept individual payments from each guest. The primary contact will be in charge with the booking reference number.
What do we do during the hens party cruise?
That is up to you! We can cruise for the duration and find a bay to stop and anchor. It depends on the day and what you and your guests want. You are welcome to play games, some boats have a TV screen for slideshows, go for a swim, take as many selfies as possible…
Can I play music?
Yes, all our boats have aux ports to connect your device (phone/iPod etc) with speakers so you can dance the night or day away.
I have guests with dietary requirements, can you cater for them?
You must advise Hens Party Cruises of any dietary requirements you require at least 14 days prior to the scheduled date of your charter. Hens Party Cruises will endeavour to accommodate your dietary requirements but makes no guarantee that all requests made will be accommodated for.
What do I need to bring for a BYO hens party cruise?
Depending on which hens party BYO boat you choose depends on what is provided. We will advise of each different inclusions at the time of booking. We provide an esky to keep drinks cold, but you may need to bring ice. If you are drinking alcohol during your charter, you must provide a substantial quantity of food to abide by Liquor Laws. By that, we mean a proper meal that’s more than chips and dips or bar snacks.
What do you do in case of bad weather/rain?
We are very lucky as there is always a sheltered bay to anchor away from the weather. Some boats are better suited with larger inside spaces and undercover areas. The cheaper catamaran-style boats are great for summer sunshine but have limited covered space. Something to bear in mind when choosing your boat. Our hens party boats will operate in rain, only when a skipper deems the conditions unsafe will your cruise be rescheduled.
Can we play hens party games?
Yes, they are a great way for your group to bond, especially if not everyone knows each other. Need inspiration? Check out our hens party games ideas
What is your cancellation policy?
Full terms can be found here.
Can I bring my own decorations?
Decoration of the vessel is allowed with the skipper’s consent, provided no damage occurs to the vessel when installing or removing these items. Hens Party Cruises recommends that you keep decorative items simple and conservative. Confetti, glitter, flower petals, tinsel, crepe/tissue paper or other items that will shed, run colour or create an excess mess on board the vessel are not allowed.
Do you allow guests to smoke?
Smoking is permitted on private charters. Smoking is only allowed on the outside designated smoking areas. (which has not been excluded by the skipper), however, respect and care for the environment is required. Appropriate ashtrays for cigarette butts are provided on board the vessel.
How long do we have to Board?
Please note that cruise times include boarding and disembarkation. Please arrive at the pick-up location 15-20 minutes before departure time. If a booking is made and you do not show up or arrive late, Hens Party Cruise cannot guarantee cruise participation on an alternate cruise time or the extension of your private charter and no refunds will be provided.
